After a very pleasant flight with a budget airline in a First-Class sized seat (costs extra but well worth it) I landed in Las Vegas. I was welcomed by my parents. Together we will spend the next two and a half weeks driving across the United States of America. Obviously our first stay would be at Las Vegas itself.
Las Vegas is basically one street with all the casinos clustered together surrounded by one-story buildings as far as you can see (And we went 300m in the air to check that out! =). It was an amazing experience to come across so many places known from movies in such a small area.
I don’t have to describe the experience in detail, it’s enough to say that it’s pretty much the same as shown in the movies. The long carpet floors in the hotels, the fountains in front of the Bellagio, the casino floors with 24/7 gambling, the free drinks you get while gambling and so on. Everything here is designed so that you have a nice time and spend a lot of money in the meantime. And that’s what we did.
